"Go Create It has been an exceptional partner to the Peel District School Board, providing high‑quality, engaging, and culturally responsive programming that meaningfully supports student success, leadership development, and experiential learning. Their work has strengthened two major initiatives within our system: the Focus on Youth (FOY) summer program and the Recognition of Experiential Learning for Credit (RELC) Ministry‑pilot program for secondary students.
During the FOY program, Go Create It delivered both the V!BEClash and the 4 Corners Anti‑Racism workshops, offering students rich, engaging, and culturally responsive learning experiences. TheV!BEClash workshop provided an immersive STEAM‑based opportunity anchored in creativity, inquiry, and Hip‑Hop culture, where students built their own functional musical instrument while exploring sound, circuitry, design, and digital creativity. This hands‑on experience strengthened foundational STEAM skills and empowered youth to innovate, problem‑solve, and express themselves through music and technology. Complementing this, the 4 Corners Anti‑Racism workshop created a powerful space for students to explore identity, equity, and social justice through interactive activities and creative expression, supporting Peel’s anti‑racism and anti‑oppression priorities while fostering dialogue, reflection, and community building among youth.
As part of the RELC pilot, Go Create It offered a Music Production Leadership Development program that connected directly to literacy, math, and science curriculum expectations. Students gained hands‑on experience with music production tools while developing transferable skills in communication, problem‑solving, numeracy, and digital literacy. The program not only met Ministry expectations for experiential learning but exceeded them by fostering confidence, creativity, and leadership in participating students.
Across all programming, Go Create It demonstrated professionalism, cultural responsiveness, and a deep understanding of how to engage diverse learners. Their facilitators build strong relationships with students, create inclusive learning environments, and deliver content that is both academically connected and authentically youth‑centered.
We highly recommend Go Create It as a partner for school boards, community organizations, and educational programs seeking innovative, meaningful, and impactful learning experiences for young people."
