"As a Caribbean Music educator who has ached for cultural representation in music education, I have had the absolute honour of working with Go Create It through their Mighty Remix presentation. A revolutionary show made for music students and for ALL people. I was blown away and emotional because for the FIRST time in my 20 something years of teaching, I felt my Caribbean music platformed respected, and showcased in such a powerful way. The whole program was educational and presented in a vibrant yet respectful way.

The students who usually get restless after sitting in the gym for an assembly were engaged the whole time. It was beautiful to see. Out of this experience, we created a collaboration which allowed my students to be part of the show and perform for a second year at the Rose Theatre. This organization understands the importance of decolonizing music programs and supporting other cultural groups with the same vision. I most highly recommend that ALL schools should experience this amazing show, which can also be a workshop too. You would be missing out if you don't see The Mighty Remix."

"Overall students and teachers had a great experience. Our grade 5/6 teachers found the program engaging for their classes as they have a challenging cohort. It kept them really focused and students looked forward to their sessions. Teachers found it helpful that the program supported their math program as students had to work on their basic mental math skills as well as their ratios/percentages. Many students in our school benefit from real life experiences where they can apply math to everyday activities. Music plays a large role in our community and is part of many of their identities so students were excited to see music they can relate to in the playlists."

"What stood out most to me was the level of student engagement and the speed at which a true learning community formed. Students showed up, were excited to learn, actively participated in conversations, and held each other accountable in their roles as mentors to the younger students involved in the experience.

Within the first 15 minutes of the program, it is clear how passionate you are about creating meaningful, authentic learning opportunities. That energy is contagious. You not only share your own wealth of knowledge, but you also intentionally connect students to your network of mentors and successful entrepreneurs, which adds a level of real-world relevance that is rare in school-based programming. That combination of engagement, mentorship, and authenticity is what truly sets Go Create It apart, and why I recommend it to any school or organization without hesitation."

"Go Create It is fresh, innovative and relevant.  Students gain tangible and transferable skills through experiential and immersive learning opportunities.  Through Go Create It, students grown in confidence and many have gone on to use the skills they've gained to create employment and financial opportunities for themselves.  Go Create It also builds a community of young people who give back as instructors and volunteers providing tangible opportunities for mentorship and leadership.

Go Create It is highly regarded by students and staff alike.  More often that not, Go Create It programming becomes an integral part of school's extra and co-curricular programming.  Working beyond the classroom, Go Create It programming has led to clubs, camps and teams bringing a variety students together around a common interest in a supportive and fun environment.

The beauty of Go Create It comes from its Director and Lead Instructor, Joseph Khargie.  Joseph's energy, care, positivity, professionalism and authenticity is unmatched.  Leading with creativity, Joseph's enthusiasm resonates with staff and students a like.  Go Create It  constantly evolves and adapts to student needs bringing culturally relevant and responsive programming that students want to experience.

There's absolutely nothing like Go Create It.  Its programming appeals to a cross section of young people developing skills, boosting self esteem and creating opportunities.  In a time where investments of time and money can be challenging, Go Create It stands out as an investment in students worth making."

"Go Create It has been an exceptional partner to the Peel District School Board, providing high‑quality, engaging, and culturally responsive programming that meaningfully supports student success, leadership development, and experiential learning. Their work has strengthened two major initiatives within our system: the Focus on Youth (FOY) summer program and the Recognition of Experiential Learning for Credit (RELC) Ministry‑pilot program for secondary students.

During the FOY program, Go Create It delivered both the V!BEClash and the 4 Corners Anti‑Racism workshops, offering students rich, engaging, and culturally responsive learning experiences. TheV!BEClash workshop provided an immersive STEAM‑based opportunity anchored in creativity, inquiry, and Hip‑Hop culture, where students built their own functional musical instrument while exploring sound, circuitry, design, and digital creativity. This hands‑on experience strengthened foundational STEAM skills and empowered youth to innovate, problem‑solve, and express themselves through music and technology. Complementing this, the 4 Corners Anti‑Racism workshop created a powerful space for students to explore identity, equity, and social justice through interactive activities and creative expression, supporting Peel’s anti‑racism and anti‑oppression priorities while fostering dialogue, reflection, and community building among youth.

As part of the RELC pilot, Go Create It offered a Music Production Leadership Development program that connected directly to literacy, math, and science curriculum expectations. Students gained hands‑on experience with music production tools while developing transferable skills in communication, problem‑solving, numeracy, and digital literacy. The program not only met Ministry expectations for experiential learning but exceeded them by fostering confidence, creativity, and leadership in participating students.

Across all programming, Go Create It demonstrated professionalism, cultural responsiveness, and a deep understanding of how to engage diverse learners. Their facilitators build strong relationships with students, create inclusive learning environments, and deliver content that is both academically connected and authentically youth‑centered.

We highly recommend Go Create It as a partner for school boards, community organizations, and educational programs seeking innovative, meaningful, and impactful learning experiences for young people."

"Math Thru Music delivered an incredible Black History Month presentation that thoughtfully integrated music and French in a way that was both meaningful and engaging. The session was interactive, educational, and extremely well-organized. Our students were fully engaged from start to finish and genuinely excited to participate.

The presenters did an excellent job making connections across subjects while highlighting important Black artists and cultural contributions. The use of music made the learning accessible and memorable, and students walked away not only having learned something new, but truly enjoying the experience. It was an awesome presentation, and we would absolutely welcome Math Thru Music back again."

"I've worked with Joseph multiple times and each experiences has been amazing!  From DJ Workshops to The Mighty Remix Assembly, to creating mini sound systems to speaking with students about entrepreneurship, Joseph has done an amazing job ensuring that his programs meet the needs of students.  We believe a lot in affirming student identity at our school and Joseph is not afraid to share about his culture and background.  He brings a little bit of himself to each and every presentation and he always connects it to the Ontario curriculum expectations.  We are looking forward to our school's Steel Pan Band joining Joseph in his Mighty Remix Presentation for Black History Month and we are excited for our upcoming Sound clash workshop!  I would recommend Go Create It for any school and school based program."

"It is my privilege to support the work of Go Create It through the V!beClash STEAM initiative. As the former Science and Technology Coordinator within the Peel District School Board, I piloted this program across multiple secondary schools, facilitating collaborative sessions with teachers and integrating the experience into interdisciplinary programs. What stands out about Go Create It is the authenticity, innovation, and educational integrity of V!beClash. Built from iteration, failure, redesign, and perseverance, the program models problem-solving and resilience, showing students that innovation is messy, human, and attainable. Across schools, students engaged in building circuits, manipulating rhythms, creating soundboards, and composing live performances, exploring identity and culture while learning the science of sound, circuitry, and engineering design.

Go Create It distinguishes itself through authentic cross-curricular integration, cultural relevance, mentorship opportunities, iterative design, and narrative framing. The program aligns with Universal Design for Learning principles, supports differentiated learning, and encourages leadership development. It engages students who may not traditionally see themselves in STEM, builds authentic bridges between science, technology, music, and storytelling, and models entrepreneurial resilience and real-world innovation. For these reasons, I wholeheartedly support Go Create It and the V!beClash initiative."
