Hello Go create it
Our engaging programs, assemblies, kits and shows
Two turntables, a mixer, headphones, and a bunch of vinyl – ever wonder how it all works? The Renaissance DJ Assembly is an encompassing DJ history lesson that takes the participants from Edison’s Phonograph to the latest products used. We explore the physics behind the vinyl record, the cassette tape, the compact disc, the MP3, and streaming. Learn how these music mediums created the DJ and how the DJ continues to evolve with technology. See the relevance of entrepreneurship, math, science, and social justice through the turntables.
Based on the The Renaissance DJ (RDJ) Show, the RDJ Assembly is designed to introduce students to the history of technology and its evolution through innovation. Students will also explore the scientific concepts behind ground- breaking technology that has become an integral part of their daily lives.
